Invasiveness of Automatic Emotion Recognition in Educational Context
Summary
The paper concerns current trends in intelligent tutoring systems construction, that take into account emotional state of a learner to adapt learning path. The paper presents the design and results of a study on perceived invasiveness of automatic emotion recognition applied in educational context. The study was based on a questionnaire addressed to students at universities in Poland. Results might be interesting both for affective computing researchers, that apply emotion elicitation techniques in learning as well as for educational applications producers, that plan to enhance their software with some emotion recognition techniques.
