The impact of eTwinning projects on teachers’ professional development in the context of the English and Polish educational system
Summary
The present study aims at investigating English and Polish teachers` opinions about the impact of eTwinning on teachers’ professional development. Data for the study were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 20 Polish and 20 English teachers who are actively participating in eTwinning programme. The analysis of the responses revealed a number of beneficial effects on professional development of teachers. Moreover, it has been proven that that the systematic involvement of Polish and English teachers in eTwinning project influences different areas of their professional development. It has also been demonstrated that the development of eTwinning projects in a Polish and an English classroom is limited by different factors.
