Teamwork in the Online Course − the Study Based on the Questionnaire
Summary
This paper presents a questionnaire-based study on teamwork. The crucial issue concerning the investigation was the problem of teamwork design. It is quite a complex issue and requires continuous optimization in terms of situational contest. Running every Information Technology course at Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences (WUELS) includes ‘work in groups’ module. During the course, the students work together online and face to face. The questionnaire included full-time and part-time students from 5 faculties of the WUELS who had learned information technology during the first semester. The conclusions based on the analysis of the answers allowed for finding the weak points and drawing up better guidelines for designing teamwork for students in the future.
