Electronic Verification of Knowledge – an Opportunity for Effective Knowledge Evaluation
Summary
Verification of learning outcomes at the university can be done in different ways and in different forms. During the whole semester and the examination session they are e.g. tests for issuing the final assessment and exams. E-learning is associated primarily with education. However, the development of distance education, and especially the tools for its implementation, make it possible not only to transfer, but also to verify the knowledge acquired by the student. Therefore, the article presents issues related to the possibilities of using tools for distance education both for testing and for final exams as well. The analysis will cover both the legal aspects and technical use of e-learning platforms.
