Evaluation of Distance Learning Process Using Artificial Intelligence Tools
Summary
In education, as in many other areas of life, it is noticed the growing importance of the role of computers as well as expansion of the application of information technology in that field. Besides the use of a computer as a mean to look for a variety of information in the Internet, it is used more and more often to support the process of learning and as a tool to evaluate the results of that process. In that last case a computer helps people involved in the educational process (teachers, students) in the verification and assessment of both the degree of acquisition of knowledge in a particular field as well as in assessing the practical use of acquired skills by the students. To solve this problems one can use information technologies and the methods of distance learning. This paper is a description of the undertaken attempt to personalize the educational portal with the use of methods of artificial intelligence.
