Analysis of the properties, functionalities and ergonomics of modern tools dedicated to rapid e-learning development

Abstract

Article contains an analysis of the rapid e-learning development tools. It was based on the experience gained by the authors during implementation of a series of trainings for Rzeszow University of Technology teachers in the field of e-learning. Publication contains insights that emerged mainly during the practical part of the training. Potential problems and difficulties encountered by people who create e-learning courses using currently available tools for rapid e-learning development were discussed. The main emphasis was put on the analysis of the features, ergo- -nomics, functionalities and also imperfections of the most popular RLD tools. It is-sued a set of characteristics that define „ideal” tool. In assessing existing tools, ex-amined the features that allow to incorporate the latest web technologies in the pro-cess of creating e-courses./p>
