Content and organization of (e)learning. Problem of coherence in educational projects
Abstract
Internal coherence of learning process is understood as a complete consistency between goals of participants, content, organization and realization of the process — which reveals always when is absent. Lack of the coherence leads not only to lower didactic effectiveness of the course or study but can be a cause of negative educational effect and loss of prestige of teacher and university. Those problem was analysed in context of three different examples of blended learning:
- postgraduate study to satisfy the qualification requirements in computer education for teachers — organized by the non-public university,
- series of courses for managers of e-learning in the public sector, implemented by training company with the participation of the public university as a partner,
- a large-scale project to develop students’ talents in the field of mathematics and natural sciences implemented by the local government of a large city.
As a result some factors of non-coherence have been defined (with the importance exceeding the scope of mentioned cases), what can cause the reduction in the quality of training on Internet, and indirectly leads towards creation of false patterns and schemes of action of the project participants.
