Reading education and development of information and seeking competencies of students of basic schools helped with classes in the public library - report on research
Summary
The article is a presentation of the results of research carried out by the pedagogical experiment in the 2017/2018 school year. The research was carried out on a group of 310 students from the Primary School. They were cyclical, systematic activities in the public library in order to shape information and search competences. They raised the problem of the quality and level of key competences of students and teachers. The study does not address the theoretical foundations of the essence of shaping information and search competences. It has the character of a case study as a germ for considering the possibilities of implementing future solutions in education.
